What This Product Does
The CSV‑1585 is a USB‑C® KVM switch combined with a docking station.
It allows two USB‑C® source systems to share a single set of peripherals, including:
- One DisplayPort™ or HDMI™ display
- USB input devices such as keyboard and mouse
- Audio peripherals
- Network connection
The unit supports video output up to 4096 × 2160 @ 60 Hz and provides power delivery, USB data, Ethernet, and audio through a single device.
Only one host system is active at a time.
Important Compatibility Notice
Video resolution, refresh rate, and functionality depend on the capabilities of the connected host systems, including USB‑C® DisplayPort™ Alternate Mode support, graphics controller, and operating system.
The KVM switch does not override or extend host system limitations.
Display behavior and supported resolutions are determined by the source device and the connected display.

Power and Charging Behavior
- External power is required for normal operation.
- The unit supports USB‑C® Power Delivery 3.0 up to 100 W for charging the active host system.
- Available charging power depends on overall system load and connected devices.
Connection Instructions
- Connect the power supply to the 20 V DC input on the CSV‑1585.
- Connect each host system to the PC1 and PC2 USB‑C® input ports using the supplied USB‑C® cables.
- Connect the remote switching cable to the remote switch port if remote switching is required.
- Connect the display to the DisplayPort™ or HDMI™ output.
- Connect the Ethernet cable to the RJ‑45 port if network access is required.
- Connect keyboard, mouse, and other USB peripherals to the USB‑A or USB‑C® data ports.
- If host charging is required, connect a USB‑C® PD power source (up to 100 W) to the PD port for the active host.

Top Panel
- Power button: Press to turn the unit on or off
- Power indicator LED:
- LED turns on when external power is connected and the unit is active
- Long press (approximately 3 seconds) required to power on or off
- Default active host after power‑on is PC2

- PC1 / PC2 selection LEDs indicating the active host

Can both host systems be used at the same time?
No. Only one host system can be active at a time.
Does the KVM switch change the display capabilities of my system?
No. Display performance depends on the host system and connected display.

Can I switch hosts manually and remotely?
Yes. Host switching can be done using the front panel control or the remote switching cable.
