What This Product Does

The CSV‑1384 is an HDMI™ bi‑directional switch, not a splitter.

It can be used in one of two configurations:

  • Two HDMI™ sources → one HDMI™ display, or
  • One HDMI™ source → one of two HDMI™ displays

Only one channel is active at a time.

ℹ️ This product selects between signals or displays. It does not output to multiple displays simultaneously

 Connection Procedure

  1. Decide whether the CSV‑1384 will be used as:
    • two sources to one display, or
    • one source to two displays.
  2. Connect the HDMI™ source device(s) and HDMI™ display(s) to the corresponding HDMI™ ports using HDMI™ male‑to‑male cables.
  3. Power on the connected devices.
  4. When powered, the switch defaults to Channel 1.
  5. Press the toggle button to switch to the desired channel.

LED Indicator

  • Blue LED indicates the currently active HDMI™ channel
  • Only the selected channel will output signal

Cable Recommendation

For optimal performance at high resolutions:

  • Use HDMI™ 2.1 certified cables
  • Recommended cable length: within 3 m / 9.84 ft

Cable performance may vary depending on source devices and installation environment.

Common Questions

Will all connected displays show the same image?
No. The CSV‑1384 operates as either two HDMI™ sources to one display, or one HDMI™ source to one of two displays. Only one output channel is active at a time.

Can this product work as both a switch and a splitter?
The CSV‑1384 is a bi‑directional switch. It selects between sources or displays but does not display content on multiple displays simultaneously.

Does the device change or convert video resolution or format?
No. The CSV‑1384 does not convert the signal. All video and audio output match the source signal specifications.

Is a specific HDMI™ cable required?
HDMI™ 2.1 cables are recommended, preferably within 3 m / 9.84 ft, to ensure optimal performance at 8K@60Hz or 4K@120Hz.
